Managing Relationships at Work
The Managing Relationships at Work consultation addresses issues that interfere with teamwork, respect among co-workers, incorporating diverse styles, and maintaining positive morale. The consultant works first to reinforce the manager’s role and effectiveness and next to design intervention strategies targeted to address the identified concerns.
The Job Performance consultation provides managers with necessary tools to deal with deteriorating performance that has not been effectively resolved through normal management intervention. Typically, these situations involve employees who have poor performance, increased absenteeism, attitude changes, personality conflicts, high accident rates, concentration difficulties, or employees who report to work and cannot function.
LifeSolutions consultants provide managers with strategies on how to approach the employee and whether to refer the employee to LifeSolutions. Consultants coach managers to concentrate on performance issues and avoid attempts to diagnose or solve the employee’s personal problems.
Critical Incident Management
Critical Incident Management provides assistance when the people in a work group are facing a significant negative event in the workplace. These events may include the death of an employee, a major workplace accident, or a traumatic workplace event such as an act of violence. LifeSolutions staff coordinates these services with Human Resources and organization leadership and provides both telephone-based and on-site support.
